Click on the link provided below to view our latest rate schedule for classes and boarding in pdf format. 2012 / 13 Winter Class Schedule Group Class Schedule: - *Advanced Registration is Required due to limited class size* 1- “Positively Perfect” Puppy Class - 8 week class - $100.00 cost - This class is designed for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months of age. This is the most important class you’ll ever take. Start your puppy off on the right paw with the necessary foundation skills that will help your puppy become a joy to live with or be ready to continue on into the advanced obedience classes. 2- Standard Obedience Class - 8 week class - $100.00 cost - For dogs over 6 months of age. This class is designed to build a foundation necessary for all well-mannered dogs. Prepares you and your dog for the Canine Good Citizen Certification or to enter into the more advanced obedience classes 3- Novice Obedience Class - 8 week class - $100.00 cost - Pre-Req: Perfect Puppy or Standard Obedience Class - The goal of this class is to increase reliability with distractions and to prepare your dog for off-leash work and distance control. 4- Intermediate Obedience Class - 8 week class - $100.00 cost - For Novice Grads - This class teaches the foundation skills that your dog needs to know to enter the world of competition obedience training. 5- Competition Obedience - The goal of this class is to get your dog ready for the Obedience Show Ring! 6- Novice Rally - The goal of this class is to teach all of the skills necessary to complete a Competition Novice Rally Course. *It will be easier for you and your dog to excel in this class if you have completed the classes through Intermediate Obedience. 7- Intermediate/Advanced Rally - 8 week class $100.00 cost - Pre-Req – Novice Rally - The goal of this class is to teach the skills for the Intermediate and Excellent Rally Title through AKC. 8- Agility 1 – Obstacle Training - 4 week class - $50.00 cost - This class teaches individual pieces of Agility equipment so that your dog learns to maneuver the obstacles accurately and safely. 9- Agility 2 – Course Training - 4 week class - $50.00 cost - Now we’re putting it all together! We begin working multiple pieces of equipment as you would on a competition course. 10- Agility 3 – Handling - 4 week class - $50.00 cost - The goal of this class is to get you ready for the Agility Show Ring! Focusing on how you communicate with your dog through your body language. 11- Canine Good Citizen Class - 4 week class - $50.00 cost - The goal of this class is to prepare you and your dog for all 10 tests required for the CGC Certification. The test is included in this class. 12- Introduction to Conformation - 8 week class - $100.00 cost - This class teaches the foundation obedience skills required of all great conformation dogs. Such as: the moving stand, the stand for examination, the oral examination, and loose leash movement. 13- Recall Class - (This class is seasonally scheduled – Summer/Fall) and needs Instructor Approval - This class focuses on teaching your dog to come reliably when called, amongst distractions. This class is held outdoors in a fenced enclosure. Long-lines are required. To attend this class your dog must be approachable by strangers and other dogs. 14- Premier Training Program - This is a 4 week training program designed by you and the Instructors at The Truth About Dogs. We will set up a curriculum necessary to teach the skills to your dog that are most important to you. To name a few:
